Legal Services NYC (LSNYC) is a nonprofit legal aid organization that provides free civil legal help to low‑income New Yorkers. LSNYC connects callers to intake specialists and attorneys for matters such as housing and eviction defense, public benefits, family and consumer law, immigration, elder law, and related services. Their multilingual intake line is open Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at 917‑661‑4500. The organization also works through community outreach, impact litigation, and policy advocacy to protect tenants, preserve benefits, and advance economic security.
