HighLevel is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to establish the company-wide standard for experiment design and causal inference, ensuring data-backed decisions across its fast-moving SaaS platform. This founding individual contributor role involves defining rigorous statistical methodologies, building a toolkit for clustered data analysis, and coaching product managers and analysts to execute high-quality tests. The position requires translating complex statistical nuances into clear guidance for leadership while partnering with AI/ML teams to evaluate non-deterministic systems.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end experiment methodology and statistical standards for the organization
Build methods toolkit for clustered hierarchical data analysis
Apply rigorous causal inference techniques to separate signal from bias
Coach PMs and analysts to run tests that hold up to scrutiny
Partner with AI/ML teams to design experiments for non-deterministic systems
