About this role

The Staff Discipline Facilities Engineer (ICE) provides specialized instrumentation, controls, and electrical engineering for automation design and IoT-enabled integration projects across Canadian Thermal Conventional Heavy Oil assets. Centralized in Calgary, the role scopes and designs the addition or modification of field devices and control system equipment into existing industrial automation systems and infrastructure. The position delivers these changes through the Management of Change process while coordinating with Operations, IT, and other engineering disciplines to provide engineering direction and deliverables.

Responsibilities

Design and integrate field devices and control systems into existing industrial automation infrastructure
Lead front-end investigation, scoping, and design basis for automation and IoT-enabled projects
Produce and approve engineering work packages including control narratives and wiring schematics
