About this role

The Staff Electrical Engineer will join IonQ’s Quantum Control System team to help design and deliver the electronics and embedded systems that enable trapped-ion quantum control operations. The role supports development of scalable control architectures for multi-system quantum networking and distributed quantum computing, and requires close collaboration with physicists and firmware, FPGA, and software teams. The position is based onsite at College Park, MD or Bothell, WA and includes occasional travel.
