Staff Engineer, Crusoe Managed Data Transfer (Distributed Systems)

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Engineer to serve as the technical lead and systems architect for its Managed Data Transfer service, overseeing the end-to-end design and integration of petabyte-scale data movement between hyperscaler and Crusoe storage. This role involves evaluating and migrating a production prototype, setting data-plane strategies for throughput and correctness, and defining cross-team contracts for system interfaces. The position requires leading a new engineering team, mentoring developers, and ensuring operational excellence while partnering with product management on scope and milestones.
