About this role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Engineer to serve as the Retrofit Project Lead Engineer within its Product Support organization in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This role focuses on long-range retrofit planning, configuration changes, and field-level installation management for aircraft modifications. The position requires close collaboration with customers, engineering teams, and Integrated Product Teams to ensure successful weapon system upgrades and modifications.

Responsibilities

Manage and drive retrofit completion in the field with local customers and engineering teams
Develop and administer long range retrofit plans for aircraft and weapon system upgrades
Coordinate with retrofit teams to execute retrofits during planning, scheduling, and execution phases
