Staff Engineer

The Staff Engineer in Architecture leads the design, build, and operation of the WAL replication and event streaming platform, ensuring correctness and low latency for cache invalidation, data warehouse synchronization, and change-data-capture consumers. This role involves driving the migration from batch-driven processes to a unified streaming pipeline, establishing open table formats, and setting technical standards for the Realtime & Streaming team. The position requires deep expertise in event streaming systems, production engineering, and cross-team technical leadership.
