About this role

CHAOS Industries is seeking a hands-on Staff Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and integration of air-launched and ground-launched aerospace vehicles and associated hardware. This role involves owning mechanical design for airframes, control surfaces, and structures while collaborating across engineering and manufacturing functions to get real hardware flying. The position requires regular on-site work in El Segundo, CA, or may be primarily remote from Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design and integration of airframes and flight vehicles
Develop 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and interface control documents
Perform structural and thermal analyses and design verification activities

Skills

Qualifications
