About this role

The Staff Mission Lead Systems Engineer for RF Systems will partner with the Mission Architecture team to shape technical concepts and drive architecture trades during early mission formulation. As the primary technical authority, this role owns end-to-end mission success from concept through on-orbit operations, serving as the main interface for customers and cross-functional teams. The position requires developing mission-level system models, managing requirements, and ensuring high-reliability standards for government and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

Develop mission concepts and run architecture trade studies for prospective missions
Lead technical design and development of designated missions from concept through operations
Translate customer objectives into verifiable technical requirements and manage traceability
