About this role

This role provides general nursing care to patients and families across diverse healthcare settings within the Radiation Oncology department. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while delegating tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel.

Responsibilities

Assess and document patient health status and functional needs
Plan and implement nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
Evaluate patient response to care and revise plans as needed
Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel
Participate in process improvement activities for clinical quality
