The Staff Scientist – Fault-Tolerant Quantum Algorithms will lead development of scalable fault-tolerant quantum algorithms and drive long-term roadmaps, benchmarking, and resource estimation to enable high-impact quantum solutions. This role partners across product, engineering, sales, and external collaborators to translate research into commercial and scientific outcomes and represents IonQ at conferences and with customers. The position focuses on generating foundational IP and publications while guiding strategy for fault-tolerant quantum computing at scale.
