Staff Security Engineer (Blue Team)

The Staff Security Engineer serves as the technical lead for Olo’s Security Blue Team, owning key defensive programs that protect customer and company data. Reporting to the Security Engineering Director, this role oversees information protection, incident detection and response, and security services across Olo’s cloud environment. The position involves setting strategic direction for security initiatives, driving continuous improvement of controls, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The engineer will also mentor other security team members and influence security posture across the organization.
