About this role

This role sits on Plaid’s new AI Applications team as an early, founding engineer focused on building AI-powered experiences across Plaid’s products and customer lifecycle. The position centers on architecting and shipping generative AI applications that power customer support, onboarding, personalization, and other high-impact fintech use cases. The engineer will help define Plaid’s integration patterns with major AI providers and build the trust and consent layers for agentic commerce. Over time, the role is expected to grow into a key voice shaping Plaid’s AI-first strategy at the intersection of AI and fintech.
