About this role

A Staff Machine Learning Engineer – Safety ML at Discord will serve as the technical lead for the Safety ML team, driving the design, development, and maintenance of data and AI/ML infrastructure and services to improve safety on the platform. The role partners with product, data science, policy, legal, and engineering teams and reports to the Senior Manager of Machine Learning, Safety. The position helps shape company safety strategy and communicates technical trade-offs to senior leadership.
