Symmetry (now part of Gusto) builds payroll infrastructure and payroll tax APIs that power compliant paycheck and payroll experiences at large scale. This role joins Gusto’s Payroll Platform team as a backend-focused Staff Software Engineer designing internal services and APIs used across product teams to enable accurate, scalable payroll in a highly regulated domain.
