Metropolis is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer focused on Reliability to own platform-wide availability, resilience, and observability for its mission-critical mobility infrastructure. The role involves building reliability from first principles, architecting multi-region failover strategies, and establishing incident response and SLO-based alerting practices to maintain 99.9%+ uptime. You will work cross-functionally to influence architecture, scale the platform to new markets, and embed reliability standards across services.
