Staff Software Engineer, Security

The Staff Software Engineer for Security Engineering will drive key architectural initiatives for Tempus' Security stack, setting the technical vision for security engineering and leading build-versus-buy decisions. This role focuses on enabling core identity and authentication systems, such as Single Sign-On and modern identity standards, to secure access across a decentralized microservices architecture. Additionally, the position involves architecting and securing emerging agentic controls and distributed event-based systems to ensure the safe utilization of patient records and intellectual property by generative AI technologies.
