We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Semantic Layer team to own and evolve MetricFlow, an open-source semantic engine that defines trusted business metrics. In this high-ownership role, you will design features, optimize query generation, and strengthen the codebase while engaging with the global community. You will work at the intersection of language design and distributed data execution to shape the long-term architecture of a foundational project in modern data analytics.

Responsibilities

Design and build core features of the MetricFlow semantic engine
Optimize query generation and dimensional modeling across data warehouses
Manage open-source releases and review community contributions
Collaborate with dbt engineers to ensure seamless ecosystem integration
Mentor other engineers through code review and technical guidance
