Staff Software Engineer

This role involves leading the architectural design of Coupang's next-generation Real-Time Streaming & AI Platform, processing over 100k events per second with sub-second latency to power the end customer website and mobile apps. The position requires building a highly available, distributed system that leverages AI to optimize data flows and automate complex system behaviors. The engineer will set architectural standards, integrate AI/ML models into the stream processing path, and collaborate with domain teams to migrate legacy processes to real-time streaming architectures.
