Standardized Patients (SPs) are hired to realistically portray medical scenarios and/or teach clinical techniques to health sciences learners at Howard University. The role supports educational activities by providing scripted patient histories, undergoing physical examinations, completing accuracy checklists, and delivering constructive feedback. Training is mandatory and SPs may work onsite or virtually as part of scheduled courses.
