Standards Editor

The Standards Editor serves as the institutional guardian of journalistic credibility at Radio Free Asia, providing real-time pre-publication review for high-risk and legally complex stories across all platforms and language desks. This role establishes and maintains the organization's Code of Journalistic Ethics, develops policies on emerging technologies and editorial standards, and leads investigations into alleged violations. The position also involves proactive risk planning, cross-desk consistency monitoring, and designing training programs to build capacity in ethics, verification, and responsible AI use.
