S.T.A.R. Operator I

This position is responsible for transcribing police reports via live dictation, email, and hard copy reports, while entering NIBRS data and conducting data validation. The role requires strong data entry, grammar, and spelling skills, along with knowledge of basic interview techniques and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The employee will work in a normal office environment, performing data entry into the Records Management System and maintaining proficiency in various criminal justice databases and alert systems.
