California FAIR Plan
The Statistical Reporting Analyst is responsible for the development, production, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting for both external and internal data requests. This role ensures compliance with requirements and deadlines while interpreting and communicating data results to regulatory entities, bureaus, and stakeholders. The position involves analyzing data integrity, recommending process improvements, and supporting corporate strategic goals through effective data reporting initiatives.
The California FAIR Plan is the state’s insurer of last resort that provides basic fire and property insurance to California homeowners and businesses who cannot obtain coverage in the private market. Created to ensure access to essential fire protection—especially for properties in high wildfire‑risk areas—it issues standardized, limited‑peril policies to maintain market stability. The FAIR Plan places business through licensed agents and brokers and coordinates consumer resources, loss prevention guidance, and claims support. It functions as a shared mechanism among California insurers to guarantee availability of core property coverage when the voluntary market is unavailable.
