Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Tech

The Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Tech ensures the OR staff has correct, fully functional, sterile instrumentation delivered in a timely manner consistent with the highest standards of customer service. This role performs the four basic departmental functions of decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, and dispatch with efficiency, expertise, and accuracy. The position requires adherence to AAMI, AORN, and CDC guidelines while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
