About this role

The Education Coordinator III – Sterile Processing leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive education and competency program for the Sterile Processing Department at ChristianaCare. Reporting to the Manager of Training, Education, and Quality, this role develops learning pathways, delivers training, and ensures regulatory and quality compliance while supporting staff development and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive sterile processing education program
Develop structured learning pathways across sterile processing functions
Design and deliver in‑services, workshops, and certification courses
Assess and track staff competencies and certification status
Conduct audits of training records and ensure regulatory compliance
