Under general supervision, this role prepares, assembles, maintains, and transports surgical trays, instruments, and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing. The position involves decontaminating, inspecting, and assembling surgical instruments, as well as sterilizing equipment and managing case carts and supplies. The technician ensures patient safety by monitoring sterilization processes, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to industry and hospital standards.
