Performs Sterile Processing Department duties including manual decontamination, operating mechanical washers and sterilizers, assembling and packaging surgical instruments, and tracking reusable instrumentation across inpatient and outpatient units. Ensures sterilization records are maintained in the instrument tracking system and supports positive patient outcomes by providing timely, high-quality processed medical devices. Works under general direction within UHS Wilson Medical Center’s Sterile Processing unit.
