Sterile Processing Technician

This role involves maintaining competency in decontamination, sterilization, and sterile storage activities to ensure the efficient functioning of surgical departments. The position requires handling, inspecting, assembling, packaging, and sterilizing reusable instruments while adhering to AAMI, AORN, and CDC guidelines. The technician is also responsible for delivering supplies, managing inventory, and providing preceptor support to other employees.
