High school diploma or GEDCompletion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course with field training1 year of experience as Sterile Processing Technician or Operating TechnicianCertified with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 18 monthsCurrent certification through internationally recognized organizations such as IAHCSMM or Certification Board for Central Sterile Processing
