Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile Processing Technician performs routine work in the decontamination, assembly, testing, and instruments in a medical facility, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing. This is the first level of a three-level series, distinguished by the absence of responsibility for performing advanced and complicated sterilization tasks. Employees in this level may be in training to perform Sterile Processing Technician II duties.
