Store Detective

The Store Detective role at Meijer ensures a safe and secure environment for customers, team members, and vendors by investigating internal and external theft, including organized retail crime. This position focuses on proactive and preventive asset protection activities to enhance store profitability and safety. The role involves conducting surveillance, inspecting facilities, reviewing theft reports, and participating in the apprehension and prosecution of theft cases. Additionally, the Store Detective is responsible for extensive documentation, report writing, and testifying in court proceedings as needed.
