The Structural Iron Worker II independently installs girders and columns to create structural frameworks while fabricating and assembling iron and steel materials. This role requires ensuring proper placement according to blueprints and instructions, utilizing rigging to hoist materials, and operating various equipment like boom lifts and forklifts. The position involves working in both fabrication shops and installation sites to build and, when necessary, demo steel structures.
