Genesis HealthCare System’s Student Nurse Intern Program offers RN nursing students near graduation hands-on clinical experience in an acute care environment under the direct supervision of an RN. Interns rotate through acute care service units with potential exposure to specialty areas, applying classroom learning while preparing for transition into professional nursing practice. The program is designed to accommodate school schedules and provides support benefits for interns who complete the program and graduate.
