Communities In Schools of North Carolina (CISNC) is a nonprofit that works inside public schools to remove barriers to learning and unlock every student’s potential. CISNC places trained site coordinators and delivers integrated supports—academic tutoring, behavioral and attendance interventions, family and community resources—to help students meet academic, behavioral, and attendance goals. The organization partners with schools, districts, businesses, and community groups across North Carolina to tailor services and track outcomes. Donors, volunteers, and educators collaborate with CISNC to provide sustained, evidence‑based supports for students at risk of falling behind or dropping out.
