Student Surgical Technologist Fellowship

The Student Surgical Technologist (SST) Fellowship is a paid 12-week program designed for surgical technology students to enhance clinical readiness through observational and hands-on learning experiences in the perioperative environment. Fellows will receive structured exposure, guided observations, and direct clinical learning under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Certified Surgical Technologist. Participants will complete a minimum of 40 hours of fellowship activities outside of their academic coursework and clinical rotations, with placements available at various Hartford Healthcare facilities.
