The Substance Abuse Counselor (S) is a full-time position within the NC Department of Adult Correction located at the DART Center in Goldsboro, a 300‑bed residential facility providing chemical dependency treatment to probationers and parolees transitioning back to the community. The role is part of the Alcoholism and Chemical Dependency Program and supports the delivery of substance use disorder treatment services across the department. This position is state‑benefited and requires certification and a successful background check.
