Substance Abuse Counselor

This position is responsible for providing substance abuse counseling to adult correctional clients at the Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center, delivering programming in a secular manner using agency-prescribed curricula. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, conducting group and intake sessions, and maintaining accurate records of client progress and services. Collaboration with staff, supervisors, and agents is essential to uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and the agency's mission to reduce recidivism and enhance community safety.
