The Substance Abuse Worker is a full-time paraprofessional role within the NC Department of Adult Correction’s Division of Rehabilitation & Reentry, supporting 24/7 residential substance abuse treatment centers for probationers and parolees. Positions are located at the Black Mountain Substance Abuse Treatment Center for Women (Swannanoa) and the DART Center (Goldsboro) and include state benefits and shift premium pay for 2nd/3rd shifts. The role requires shift availability and passing a background check.
