Substance Use Counselor

Housing Works is seeking an experienced Substance Use Counselor to provide on-site, trauma-informed, and harm-reduction-oriented therapeutic services to justice-involved individuals transitioning from incarceration to the community. The role involves delivering integrated substance use and mental health treatment, conducting comprehensive assessments, and supporting residents during high-risk transition periods to promote safety and successful community reintegration. This grant-funded position operates within a 24-hour transition housing facility and requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of medical and behavioral health providers.
