Substance Use Counselor

The Substance Use Counselor delivers individual, group, and family substance use disorder counseling as part of VOA Dakotas' Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic initiative. This role involves conducting psychosocial and substance use assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based counseling interventions for clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The position requires participation in a rotating schedule to ensure same-day and walk-in access to care while coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
