About this role

The Substance Use Navigator serves as a front-line resource in the Emergency Department, engaging patients with substance use disorders through compassionate support and facilitating rapid linkage to treatment and community resources. This role leverages lived experience when appropriate to build trust, reduce stigma, and support patients in navigating recovery pathways. The position requires working variable shifts to support Emergency Department operations and improve patient outcomes.
