About this role

AtkinsRéalis seeks an experienced High Voltage Plant/Substations Engineer to join an international team delivering projects across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East. The role involves designing HV substations up to 400kV, preparing technical specifications, performing complex engineering calculations, and supporting tender activities. Successful candidates will mentor junior engineers and ensure client requirements are met through high-quality design deliverables.

Responsibilities

Design HV substations up to 400kV or above
Prepare technical specifications and design basis reports
Perform LVAC & DC system sizing calculations
Support tendering with preliminary design documentation
Mentor junior engineers and review design drawings

Skills

Qualifications

Graduate or post-graduate degree in Electrical EngineeringChartered Engineer accreditation
