About this role

This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment for new 330kV and 500kV high-voltage substations as part of the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission network. The position requires working on complex, large-scale infrastructure within a safety-focused environment on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster. Candidates must hold a current NSW Electrical Licence and relevant certifications to perform high-voltage and low-voltage cabling and plant installation.

Responsibilities

Install and terminate high-voltage and low-voltage power and control cabling
Install and connect primary plant including transformers and circuit breakers
Assist with electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning alongside engineers
