Substitute Driver

This position serves as a substitute driver for the solid waste and recycling department, transporting municipal solid waste to assigned landfills in Pasquotank County. The role involves the safe and efficient operation of various heavy trucks and trailers, including roll-off and transfer trucks, while performing necessary safety and maintenance checks. The driver must be available to cover full-time staff absences and manage extra waste tonnage as needed.
