About this role

The Substrate Engineer collaborates with Broadcom's substrate subcontractors to manage and resolve issues related to packaging, manufacturing, yield, quality, and delivery of high-volume semiconductor devices. The role involves supporting new product introduction activities, risk assessment, process improvement, and production engineering for high-volume IC substrate manufacturing. Additionally, the engineer works with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, develop new packaging technologies, and drive manufacturing maturity.

Responsibilities

Manage and resolve issues relating to packaging, manufacturing, yield, quality, and delivery of high volume semiconductor devices
Lead NPI activities, risk assessment, process improvement, and production engineering support for high volume IC substrate manufacturing
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues and drive newly developed packaging technology towards high volume manufacturing maturity
