About this role

StepStone is seeking a Summer Analyst to join its Private Equity team, providing hands-on experience in the private equity industry through the analysis of funds and investments. The role involves working in a team environment to target and perform due diligence, including financial modeling and the preparation of investment memorandums, across various investment verticals. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to prepare and present recommendations to the Firm’s Investment Committee.

Responsibilities

Perform due diligence and financial modeling on private equity fund investments and co-investment transactions
Conduct in-depth portfolio and asset-level underwriting and analysis by interacting with fund managers
Synthesize findings into investment memorandums and present recommendations to the Investment Committee
