This paid 8-week summer internship offers undergraduate engineers the opportunity to work on real projects supporting the delivery and future development of Formula 1. The programme provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside experienced engineers and technologists. It is designed for students in their penultimate or final year of a STEM degree who are eager to learn and solve complex challenges.
Formula 1 is the premier global motorsport series that organizes the FIA Formula One World Championship, staging a calendar of Grand Prix events featuring the sport’s top teams, drivers and manufacturers. It manages the commercial rights and international promotion of races, working with circuits, promoters and partners to deliver live event experiences around the world. Beyond on-track competition, Formula 1 produces extensive media and digital content — including live streaming (F1 TV), news, video and social coverage — plus sponsorship, merchandising and fan engagement initiatives.
