Public Counsel
Public Counsel's Community Development Project is seeking a first or second-year law student for a summer internship to provide pro bono legal services to community-based coalitions, nonprofits, and small businesses in Los Angeles County. The role involves gaining hands-on experience in direct legal services, policy advocacy, and litigation by conducting client intakes, researching legal issues, and drafting client documents. Interns will support efforts to build healthy, inclusive, and economically stable communities through transactional legal assistance and impact litigation.
