Wasauksing First Nation is an Anishinaabe (Ojibway) community and band government located on Parry Island in Georgian Bay near Parry Sound, Ontario. The Nation provides local governance and core community services—health, education, housing, social supports and infrastructure—while communicating news, events and resources to members through its website. Wasauksing actively promotes cultural and language revitalization, hosts community programs and events, and stewards its traditional territory and natural resources. It also pursues economic development and tourism opportunities to support community well‑being and self‑sufficiency.
