Youth Law Center
The Youth Law Center is seeking 1L and 2L law students for a full-time, 10‑week remote summer internship in 2027, focusing on public interest law and systemic advocacy for vulnerable youth. Interns will work with attorneys on research, writing, and advocacy projects, receive mentorship, and develop a strong writing sample while receiving supplemental equity funding after other funding sources are exhausted.
Youth Law Center is a nonprofit legal advocacy organization dedicated to transforming foster care and juvenile justice systems across the nation. Using the law to protect and enforce the rights of young people, the organization works to address systemic failures in areas such as youth safety, family preservation, and transitions to adulthood.
